1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Any2Ebook ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Any2Ebook is a privacy-focused conversion tool that includes a browser extension and desktop software. The service provides three types of conversions:

  • Browser Tabs: Convert currently open browser tabs to e-books (processed locally on your device)
  • URLs: Convert web pages from URLs to e-books (processed locally on your device)
  • PDF Files: Convert PDF documents to e-books (processed using AI servers)

The service is designed with privacy as the core principle, minimizing data collection to only essential login information (email address).

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

Account creation requires only an email address for desktop software login. You agree to:

  • Provide a valid email address for account access
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Use the service in accordance with applicable laws

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in illegal activities.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Convert content that you do not have the right to access or use
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service to spam or distribute unsolicited content
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code

5. Content and Data Processing

Your Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you process through our Service. We claim no ownership rights to your content.

Data Processing Authorization

By using the Service, you authorize us to:

  • Tab/URL Content: Process locally on your device only (we never access this content)
  • PDF Files: Send to AI servers for conversion processing

Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, functionality, and underlying technology, is owned by Any2Ebook and protected by intellectual property laws.

Copyright Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to convert any content through our Service. We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same.

E-book Distribution Restrictions

You agree that:

  • Converted e-books are for your personal use only unless you own the copyright or have explicit distribution rights
  • You will not distribute, share, or make available converted e-books in ways that may infringe on others' intellectual property rights
  • You are solely responsible for any copyright violations or intellectual property infringement resulting from the distribution of converted e-books
  • You will respect the original authors' and publishers' rights when using converted content

6. Subscription and Payment

Subscription Plans

We offer both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide additional features and higher usage limits.

Payment Terms

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
  • We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time

Free Trial

We may offer free trials for paid plans. At the end of the trial period, you will be charged for the subscription unless you cancel before the trial expires.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Technical issues
  • Force majeure events
  • Third-party service disruptions

8. Data and Privacy

Privacy is our core principle. Our service is designed to minimize data collection and protect your content:

  • Local Processing: Tab and URL conversions are processed entirely on your device
  • Minimal Data Collection: We only collect your email address for login purposes
  • No Content Storage: We do not store or access your tab/URL conversion content
  • AI Processing: PDF files are sent to AI servers for conversion processing

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Any2Ebook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Any2Ebook from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will be discontinued
  • You remain liable for any outstanding fees
  • We may delete your account and associated data
  • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
